Integrated in the cultural agenda of the city of Bragança and the Parish Union of Sé, Santa Maria and Meixedo, the “Feira das Cantarinhas” (opening tomorrow, 29th) is articulated with the Crafts Fair (currently running until Sunday).
Both are linked to a historical tradition of the Brigantes, the clay pitcher, which once served in the countryside to accompany the workers with fresh water and which still today serves to adorn the houses in Trás-os-Montes.
The Fairs have Camões Square (one of the city’s main arteries) and Cathedral Square as stages and are back after two years interrupted due to Covid-19.
